If you compare a polyunsaturated triglyceride where each leg consists of 18 carbon atoms and one carbon carbon double bond per leg vs a saturated triglyceride composed of the same number of carbon atoms, 94.6% of the carbon atoms in the three legs of the polyunsaturated triglyceride has the same chemical properties as the unsaturated triglyceride. The carbon carbon double bonds has two distinct characteristics. One they cause a bend or folding in the triglyceride legs and thus alters the bonding characteristics to other covalent molecules. In short the bonds are weaker and the fats have a lower melting point. Secondly and probably more important, the double bonds are more reactive to oxidation vs a single carbon carbon bond. The double carbon bonds want electrons to lower their free energy. If the ldl is absorbed into the artery walls and the ldl has some amount of residual polyunsaturated triglycerides inside the ldl, those double bonds with be prone to oxidative reaction and is the genesis of a cardiovascular event.

You end up not eating anything stressing out about heart beats ,all professional giving us different information, can't get appointments ,fobed of ,most Drs really dont want to listen when you have a concern about how unwell you feel,,,,basically you have to self care and self medicate.

My A1C and glucose are still going up. A1C of 5.6 and glucose of 103. It was 5.3 and 80 respectively last year. I am a runner. I run around 15-25 miles a week for years. Last 6 months I do Intermittent Fasting 18:6 from Monday - Friday every week. I also went whole foods 6 months ago to lower my LDL and lipid panel. My triglycerides went from 110 to 80....great. But my A1C went up to 5.6 and my fasting glucose to 103, from 80. I have no idea what is going on. I can't eat, fast, exercise any better. I lost 15 pounds. I have a 6 pack at age 48 now and I'm beginning pre-diabetic. My salad I eat every night for dinner is very large so maybe the one meal I eat everyday has a large portion but it is all healthy organic food. Please help.

Does thyroid cancer cause loss of apetite? I have all other symptoms, but no weight loss or heart issues. I have enlarged left lobe, chancing mood,difficulty of swallowing and im sensitive to cold, especially my legs. I have been in ultrasound exam and doctors took sample from enlarged lobe, and also lab test are normal, i mean all of the thyroid values are normal.

Ive been on mounjaro for 8 months. I've lost 25-30 so far. It took away the severe fatigue that i had from being on metformin for 10 yrs. But i feel im kinda stuck weight loss wise as ive been at this loss plateau for 2 months now. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks for this video. No alcohol, no smoking but other than that all the points you mentioned applies to me. Well my husband's chronic illnesses going on and on for almost 7-8 years have now taken toll on me. However I try to be positive and energetic, when I am alone, I keep mumbling, when this situation will be better? I don't like doing my chores with enthusiasm and I just doing because I have no choice. Two sons and their family members are very loving caring and calls every day but they are far away and where we live we do not have our community people. Both are retired so no social circle either. I can not get relaxation by way of enjoying my passion of life - Painting portraits and other creative things I used to do, no time and relaxed state of mind. Well with your video I learned a lot and I see that there is nothing wrong with me but little but of deviation in my daily routines will make a huge difference. Thanks.

Last blood work came up fasting glucose of 102 - early prediabetes. Probably due to my 2-3x a week boba teas with boba + jellies and other poor eating habits - classical skinnyfat, early 40s. I'm choosing to get on top of it with some fasting and I want to see if I can reverse this insulin resistance and get those numbers back on track.
